I like the readers of this blog. You guys get me.

You know how I know this? One look at the top posts of 2014 right here on this blog. From the constant tussle between food and the gym, to justifying purchases as only a woman can, here's what you loved reading, and I loved writing this past year.

Lists.
2014 was the year of The List. It's where I bought humour and many a gif into the everyday frustrations of life, because with things like peak tube travel, if you don't laugh, you'll cry. No, really.

Eats (Obviously).
We bonded over an obsessive love of food and I think a lot of you may have visited DF Mexico. In fact, having reminded myself that it is there, I might be making another visit. It's been six weeks too long. And don't worry, I have many an overdue EAT post for you in the New Year.

Positive Vibes.
But what touched me the most, was that my most popular posts of the year (Black Friday Posts excluded; y'all love a discount too) were about self confidence. I wrote a post all the way back in June 2013 called "The New Sexy", that remained popular throughout this year. I realised that I had reached a point in my life where I felt really comfortable in my own skin. Going back to read that post has put me in a great place to begin the New Year. The second, an open letter to my body; giving it some big time respect for what it does every day. I have just reminded myself that I'm meant to be doing Tough Mudder next year though....Yeah, about that....
