Note #151 // London Photography Walk

I've been taking my photography a lot more seriously of late. I say of late, but it took me a full year of researching to part with money for a camera. It has most certainly been a keen interest. So when the opportunity to attend a night time London Photography Walk came up, I jumped at the chance.

We were guided round London's landmarks by Best London Walks who provided us with fun alternative London knowledge. Our host had the best pair of lungs on her I've I heard in a while. How she managed to communicate to a 40-strong bunch of bloggers, I do not know.

Phil Hibberd was on hand to give some great photography tips, and I'm pretty pleased with what I was able to achieve with my smartphone camera. As a Londoner, it was great to see a familiar place from a different perspective. It made it feel new again. I also discovered a new bit of Central London that I hadn't known existed. Leakes Street is a legal graffiti space a short walk away from the London Eye. And anyone can have a go - so we all did!

Thanks to Giff Gaff for sponsoring the event. You can find out more about the night and see more pictures here.
