Note #108 // 7 days, 7 photos: Marrakech Nights

To think that this time last week, I was enjoying 25 degree heat - at night! I'm back to work tomorrow, so I thought I'd take a moment to reminisce over my time off with the second part of my Marrakech photo diary.

The night markets were amazing. Such a hive of activity - not for the feint hearted. Sellers will try and reel you in from every angle, for everything from shows to food (and even tissues to wipe your hands with post-meal!). It is a great experience though. Your senses will be ignited by colours and smells as the main square is transformed into a grid of open air street-food restaurants with everyone trying to haggle for your attention and business. We ate for about £6 each time we went and were stuffed!

We also visited Comptoir Darna for a blow out meal and show. I didn't get great pictures with it being so dark, but the meal was lovely and having the belly dancers swirl and manoeuvre around us (and get us up for dancing) was another great memory to treasure.

The final part of my Marrakech photo diary, will be up in the next few days. For the first part, click here.
